"Hard seltzer consumers have a different approach to cocktails: they are open to options and willing to embrace change. They want a lower ABV and a lower calorie drink, but they don't want to compromise on taste or quality. They care about carefully selected ingredients and sustainable packaging". These are the words of Amy Walberg, founder of PRESS Premium Alcohol Seltzer.
He developed the first flavour of his hard seltzer in his kitchen in 2015; five years later, Constellation Brands (the largest beer import company in the US), acquired a stake in his business. Backed by a giant, Walberg believes the hard seltzer market will continue to grow in 2022, though perhaps at a more sedate pace.
